Congratulations on your pregnancy! Before you begin, it’s important that you speak to your Doctor or Midwife about your yoga practice and follow their instructions. Please contact Heather to set up an appointment to go through the pregnancy series together.

I practiced throughout my entire pregnancy and couldn't have imagined it any other way. But you need to keep in mind every woman is different and every pregnancy is different, so you need to listen to your body.

Practicing throughout your pregnancy can help maintain flexibility, and develop strength in the areas you’ll need for labor and delivery. Yoga can provide access to inner resources to face the challenge of labor with confidence, calm, and courage. You will continue to learn how to relax; the more a woman in labor can relax, the easier it will be for her to cope with the intensity of the experience. Plus, it will be a great opportunity to do some yoga with your little one in your belly!
